Combined, the doctors have 70 years of San Antonio dentistry experience, and Advanced Smile Care has become the San Antonio Area's leading practice for people who want to use sedation dentistry to relax through their dental treatment.

Dr. Gerald W. Crouch

Born in New Orleans and raised in Texas, Dr. Crouch received a BS in Biology from Texas A&M University and his DDS from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1982. Dr. Crouch founded Advanced Smile Care in 1982. He has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry and completed a preceptorship in implant dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Crouch was one of the first San Antonio dentists to practice sedation dentistry when he introduced sedation to Advanced Smile Care in 2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society. In 2009, he was awarded his Masters in the Academy of the General Dentistry, an honor bestowed on less than 1% of dentists nationally.

Dr. Jason V. Kboudi

A native of San Antonio, Dr. Kboudi received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and earned his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 1998. Dr. Kboudi remained a San Antonio dentist and completed the prestigious Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the UT Dental School in 1999, continuing his training with some of the finest dentists in the field. Dr. Kboudi practiced in the Dallas area for several years before joining Dr. Crouch at Advanced Smile Care in 2002. Dr. Kboudi is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He has also been chosen to be a member of the esteemed Seattle Study Club, one of the most advanced and exciting dental continuing education groups today. He remains involved with many non-profit organizations in San Antonio such as the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter.

Dr. Gloria Vaughan

Dr. Vaughan earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Following dental school she completed a two-year hospital based general practice residency where she received certification in intravenous conscious sedation. For a number of years, Dr. Vaughan was an associate professor at the #1 dental school in the US, teaching at the graduate and postgraduate levels before leaving to practice sedation dentistry in San Antonio. She served as director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. Current and past memberships include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, the American Association of Hospital Dentists and the American Dental Education Association.

At Advanced Smile Care, our hygienists are specially trained to take exceptional care of our patients, especially those who are nervous in a dental chair. Our hygiene team prides itself on focusing on each individual patient and designing a personalized plan to improve and maintain their oral and whole body health. Their priority is to educate their patients and provide them the highest quality care in a relaxed, comfortable manner.

Wendy

Wendy Harmon, RDH, MS graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene Education and received her Masters in Dental Hygiene Education at UNC-Chapel Hill. Wendy’s was a dental hygiene instructor in Palm Beach, Florida, before moving on to Omni Oral Pharmaceuticals researching and marketing products to improve patients’ dental health. Wendy came to San Antonio to work for Advanced Smile Care in 2005, and her focus continues to be providing her patients with the best possible health care. Wendy just gave birth to a boy, Caleb.

Kelly

Kelly McClure, RDH is from Austin, Texas. After dental assisting for five years, Kelly graduated #1 in her class for dental hygiene from Coastal Bend College in 2000. She enjoys working with patients to help them feel at ease and share her knowledge to help them achieve great periodontal health and has been a part of Advanced Smile Care since 2005. Kelly is also a proud mother of two children, Abby and Jack.

Sabrina

Sabrina Langhorst, RDH received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in 2004. Sabrina started her dental career with Advanced Smile Care in 2005 as a hygiene coordinator, before leaving to graduate with honors from Coastal Bend College in 2009. Her outgoing personality and gentle touch helps to ensure patient comfort during cleanings. She enjoys helping educate patients on the importance of good oral health care. Sabrina is a proud mother to her baby boy, Aiden.
