Dr. Crouch and Dr. Kboudi and their staff have trained with some of the world's finest Cosmetic and Sedation Dentistry Specialists. Together they have over 60 years of patient care experience, and Advanced Smile Care has become the San Antonio Area's leading practice for people who want to use sedation dentistry to relax through their dental treatment.

Dr. Gerald W. Crouch

Born in New Orleans and raised in Texas, Dr. Crouch received a BS in Biology from Texas A&M University and his DDS from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1982. Dr. Crouch founded Advanced Smile Care in 1982. He has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry and completed a preceptorship in implant dentistry at UT Dental School in San Antonio. Dr. Crouch is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society. In 2009 he was awarded his Masters in the Academy of the General Dentistry, an honor bestowed on fewer than 1% of dentists nationally.

Dr. Jason V. Kboudi

A native of San Antonio, Dr. Kboudi received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and earned his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio in 1998. Dr. Kboudi remained in San Antonio and completed the prestigious Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the UT Dental School in 1999, continuing his training with some of the finest doctors in the field. Dr. Kboudi practiced in the Dallas area for several years before joining Dr. Crouch at Advanced Smile Care in 2002. After practicing as an associate for 3 years, Dr. Kboudi became partners with Dr. Crouch in 2005. Dr. Kboudi is a member of the esteemed Seattle Study Club, one of the most advanced and exciting dental continuing education groups today, in addition to the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He also remains involved with many other non-profit organizations in the community such as the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter.

Dr. Gloria Vaughan

Dr. Vaughan earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Following dental school she completed a two-year hospital based general practice residency where she received certification in intravenous conscious sedation. She was an associate professor at the dental school, teaching at the graduate and postgraduate levels. She served as director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. Current and past memberships include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, the American Association of Hospital Dentists and the American Dental Education Association.

Dr. Robin Baker

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr Baker graduated with Honors from the University of Toledo, where she was also a four year Division I letter winner in women’s soccer. She completed her DDS, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University. While there, she was a member of the honor dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She moved to San Antonio to complete her advanced general dentistry residency at the UT Health Science Center – San Antonio, the #1 dental school in the nation. During her residency, she received training in all areas of dentistry including conscious sedation. She is currently a member of the ADA and an active volunteer in the dental community, contributing to Smiles on Wheels and Dentistry From The Heart.

At Advanced Smile Care, our hygienists are specially trained to take exceptional care of our patients. Their priority is to educate their patients and provide them the highest quality care in a relaxed, comfortable manner. Our hygiene team prides itself on focusing on each individual patient and designing a personalized plan to improve and maintain their oral and whole body health.

Wendy

Wendy Harmon, RDH, MS graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene Education and received her Masters in Dental Hygiene Education at UNC-Chapel Hill. Wendy’s experience includes educating students as a dental hygiene instructor in Palm Beach, Florida, as well as researching and marketing products to improve patients’ dental health with Omni Oral Pharmaceuticals. Wendy came to Advanced Smile Care in 2005, and her focus continues to be providing her patients with the best possible health care.

Kelly

Kelly McClure, RDH is from Austin, Texas. After dental assisting for five years, Kelly graduated with honors from Coastal Bend College in 2000. She has been a part of Advanced Smile Care since 2005. She enjoys working with patients to help them feel at ease and share her knowledge to help them achieve great periodontal health. Kelly is also a proud mother of two children, Abby and Jack.

Sabrina

Sabrina Langhorst, RDH received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in 2004. After starting her dental career with Advanced Smile Care in 2005 as a hygiene coordinator and dental assistant, she graduated with honors from Coastal Bend College in 2009. She enjoys helping educate patients on the importance of good oral health care and enhances her education by attending continuing education courses to keep up with the latest in dental technology. Her outgoing personality and gentle touch helps to ensure patient comfort during cleanings.
